This past year, we had the distinct pleasure of partnering with a talented group of final-year film students from Humber College who chose Ryan’s Rays as the focus of their capstone project. As part of their program’s culmination, the students were tasked with creating a public service announcement (PSA)—a unique opportunity to apply their creative skills while shining a light on a cause they care about.
We were honoured to be selected. The students wrote, directed, and produced a compelling PSA that highlights the emotional realities of inclusive education—its challenges, its triumphs, and, most importantly, its transformative power. Through thoughtful storytelling and poignant visual work, the PSA communicates the heart of our mission: everyone benefits when everyone belongs.
The entire team brought professionalism, empathy, and passion to the project, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts. Special recognition goes to the project’s writer and director, Liam DeGroot, whose vision and leadership helped bring the message to life in such a meaningful way.
