Hope of Life International
Hope of Life has impacted millions of lives and become a catalyst for change in the country of Guatemala through planting churches, leadership development, teaching values and principles, and creating sustainable economy through income producing projects. Additionally, programs like sponsorship are facilitating change for thousands of children each year- encouraging them to become valuable members of society. Water wells, family homes, vocational school, and churches are just a few of the ways that the projects they build are investing in these communities.
McMaster Children’s Hospital – Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre
McMaster Children’s Hospital has been providing care to children from across the region since 1988. The hospital is home to the fastest-growing kids-only emergency department in Ontario, one of Canada’s most advanced neonatal intensive care units, and a range of programs and clinics with unique expertise in a number of areas including children’s cancer, digestive diseases, and mental health. Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre (RJCHC), a site of McMaster Children’s Hospital, is home to a range of outpatient services focused on child rehabilitation and developmental health. Located in Hamilton’s urban centre, RJCHC serves families living in the local community and throughout the region.
Absolute Results Foundation
The Absolute Results Foundation began with one Canadian company, Absolute Results, whose leaders wanted to make a measurable difference in the world helping those less fortunate. It began with a project to help build homes, wells, a preschool, and set up self-sustaining businesses for orphans in Zimbabwe. Today the Absolute Results Foundation represents multiple businesses, their leaders, staff, and associates. In addition to supporting several local charities, Absolute Results Foundation has partnered with Hope of Life in Guatemala where they have built an entire village for orphans, and are training values and leadership principles in Guatemala, Paraguay, and here in Canada.
Karis Disability Services Global
As a non-profit, developmental services organization, Karis Disability Services helps people experiencing disabilities accomplish their goals and thrive in communities where their God-given gifts are valued and respected. Karis Disability Services Global operates in six countries outside of Canada. With a focus on people with disabilities, Karis Disability Services Global works with local partners toward sustainable and inclusive community development.
Muskoka Woods Youth Foundation
The Muskoka Woods Youth Foundation joins young people on their journey and helps set them on the right path. Its funds support meaningful partnerships, educational opportunities, bursaries and unforgettable summer camp experiences for young people with financial or special needs. The foundation provides funding for initiatives aimed at helping youth from all walks of life build confidence, achieve their goals and realize their potential.
