Our mission is to enable inclusive education and recreational opportunities for children and youth living with disabilities.

 

We believe that:

  • Communities are stronger when everyone is included.
  • Education is strengthened when every student understands both their own worth and the worth of each of their classmates.
  • Every child has an ability to make a difference in this world.

Our Strategy

Ryan’s Rays seeks to improve the lives of children and youth living with disabilities, with a focus on inclusive education and recreation both here in Canada and around the world.

Generally, the Foundation will fund capital projects and special projects that align with our mission, but not ongoing general operations.

To be considered for a Ryan’s Rays grant, grant recipients are required  to be qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act. 

Ryan’s Rays will consider proposals from qualified applicants whose requests for funding fall within the Foundation's granting criteria and align with our mission.  Unsolicited applications will not be accepted at this time.
