Happy World Book Day!
In the rural town of Robe, Ethiopia, the meager library at the local school was temporarily displaced to make room for 4 inclusive education classrooms. A year later, we were happy to assist @christian_horizons Global in the building of a new fully accessible library along with a truckload of books to help fill it. One of the books being delivered that day was "Inclusive Education: A Practical Guide for Schools'', written in the local language by Dr. Alemayehu Teklemariam, Associate Professor in Special Needs and Inclusive Education, Addis Ababa University. Ryan's Rays was happy to provide funding for the printing of the first 2000 copies of this book in order to provide a valuable resource to teachers across Ethiopia on Inclusive Education.
"Free and fair access to books – to reading – is a right and one we should fight for.”
