Breaking ground and breaking barriers! We're thrilled to announce that construction is underway on Ryan's Place, a new care centre at @hopeoflifeinternational in Guatemala. Here, children living with disabilities will have access to comprehensive care, including daily medical support, specialized nutrition, physiotherapy, psychological care, and more! These services are provided free of cost and easily available for families who otherwise would go without the necessary therapies or supplies needed. Happy World Down Syndrome Day! Today, we celebrate the unique abilities and contributions of people with Down syndrome, and we promote their inclusion and empowerment in all aspects of life. At Ryan’s Rays, we believe that inclusive education is key to achieving this goal, and we’re proud to support the inclusive preschool at Hope of Life International in Guatemala.
Meet Genesis, one of the newest students at the preschool. Genesis has Down syndrome, but that doesn’t define her. She’s a smart, curious, and loving girl who deserves the same opportunities as any other child. Thanks to the inclusive preschool, Genesis can learn, play, and grow alongside her peers, with the support of trained teachers and therapists.
We’re honored to be part of Genesis’s journey, and we’re grateful to our donors and partners who make this possible. We know that inclusive education is not only a moral imperative, but also a smart investment in the future of our society. When we include and value all children, we unleash their potential and create a more diverse, innovative, and compassionate world.
Today, let’s celebrate Genesis and all individuals with Down syndrome, and let’s continue to work towards a more inclusive and equitable world.
