🌟 Meet Darwin! 🌟
Darwin is a courageous young boy with special needs receiving therapy at Ryan’s Place. He lives with his family in a one room house with dirt floors in a remote community called Vella Vista, about two hours from the Hope of Life International complex.
Two years ago, Darwin’s dad abandoned the family, leaving his mom, Blanca, to care for Darwin and his 4 siblings. Blanca works tirelessly in agriculture and coffee harvesting to provide for her family.
But here’s the amazing news! In the new year, Ryan’s Rays is bringing a team to Guatemala to build Darwin and his family a new, accessible home tailored to Darwin’s needs, giving the family a foundation for a brighter future. 🏠

Did you know that over 100 children with disabilities from communities as far as four hours away are currently receiving therapy and care at Ryan's Place in Guatemala? This Giving Tuesday, our goal is to continue to enhance the care being provided to these children by raising $10,000 to fund a Snoezelen (sensory) cart for Ryan's Place—a therapeutic tool that helps kids with disabilities thrive through calming lights, sounds, and textures.

Featuring rubber floors, accessible walkways, artificial grass, and a spacious covered area that offers shade from the Guatemalan sun and lighting for nighttime fun. We’re thrilled for the joy this will bring to the community.
