Accessible School Library – Asella, Ethiopia

Funding the addition of an accessible school library at Horizons Academy – a mandatory requirement in order to expand the school past Grade 4 and resulting in hundreds of new students attending the school. In Ethiopia, schools cannot provide education past grade 4 without a school library. With the addition of the new library, Horizons Academy was able to offer their first grade 5 classes beginning in September 2017, increasing the number of students at Horizons Academy by more than 100 children per year as grades progress past grade 4.
