Inclusive Playground at Hope of Life, Zacapa, Guatemala

Engaging in play is vital to a child’s health and development. An inclusive playground provides an accessible and inviting space that benefits users of all abilities. This project will revamp the current playground nestled between Ryan’s Place and Kelly’s House (care centers for children living with disabilities) on the Hope of Life campus in Guatemala. The new playground will include accessible walkways, rubber flooring, a roof to protect from the hot sun and more, creating a welcoming and inclusive play experience.
